Hello Pack 722 Families,
We wanted to share an important update regarding this weekend's camping trip.
We received notice last tues that the camp is open and ready for our visit; however, the program areas will not be operating this weekend due to staff training. As a result, the BB gun range, archery range, fire-building area, and ax yard will be closed. The indoor center will remain open, including the reptile and science rooms.
This was unexpected news and not something that was previously communicated to the pack. While it requires a late adjustment to our plans, we know that Scouts are always ready to make the most of any situation.
Pack 722 will still be camping this weekend, though the trip will be a little more pack based and focused on activities within our control, similar to the style of our Sudden Pond outings—campfires, cooking, exploring, and enjoying time outdoors together. The pack leaders have discussed activities and are putting together some fun and engaging things for the Scouts/Families to enjoy.
If your family has a favorite campsite activity, such as Frisbee golf, lawn games, cards, or something else you enjoy, feel free to bring it along!
We wanted to make sure everyone was informed of this change before the weekend. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Yours in Scouting,
Pack 722
