  • Get ready for the grand finale! 🏆 We're thrilled to announce an Awards Show to celebrate the outstanding scouts who participated in the Candy Fundraiser.

  • Top Sellers &  Individuals Recognized!!!

  • Top Overall Selling Den will be announced!!!

Pack 722 Caroling and Skits Event at the Church, Dec 16th at 9.00am

Get ready for a morning of festive fun as we gather for our Pack 722 Caroling and Skits Extravaganza, led by the wonderful Mandy .


Join us at the member breakfast, where we'll enchant patrons with heartwarming Christmas and Holiday carols. Our talented scouts will also be showcasing their creativity through delightful skits.


Let's come together to spread joy, laughter, and the spirit of the season. It's an event you won't want to miss!


Date: Saturday, December 19th

Time: 9.00am to 10.00am

Movie Night with Pack 722 - December 29th, 6:30pm 

 

Get ready for a cozy and fun-filled Movie Night with Pack 722! Let's slip into our comfiest PJs and gather for a movie night like no other. The movie will start at 6:30 pm, and we've got an exciting film in store (TBD by Cubmaster Matt).


Don't miss out on the chance to unwind, enjoy some popcorn, and share laughs with your fellow scouts. It's the perfect way to kick back and relax as we approach the end of the year!

Set Your Reminders: Adventure at Battleship Cove in Fall River March 16th and 17th


We are excited to invite you to our annual spring time overnight event: Adventure at Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA


This is an unique opportunity for your scouts to spend a night aboard the USS Massachusetts, a World War II battleship. They will sleep in authentic sailors' racks, eat chow-style meals in the original Officers' Wardroom, and participate in a variety of activities, such as a scavenger hunt, story time, and much more.




Date: March 16th and 17th

Location: 5 Water St, Fall River, MA 02721

Siblings invited - Yes 

Cost: approximately $75 per person/scout. This inclusive fee encompasses dinner, breakfast, activities, and sleeping quarters. Please note that this price may slightly decrease based on the success of our candy sales and pack fundraising efforts, which will be discussed in detail at our December Meeting. Stay tuned for further updates!


More details regarding payment will be provided as the event date approaches. Stay tuned for additional information in upcoming newsletters.



Final Registration and Pack Dues for the 2023/2024 Year! 


This is a final reminder that all pack registration and dues need to be completed. Our pack leadership has initiated the renewal process, referred to as "rechartering" by the BSA. We will be carefully reviewing den rosters for accurate names, payment, and registration over the next 7 days.


These funds help us plan and prepare for an exciting year of Scouting adventures. If you have any questions or require assistance with the registration process, please do not hesitate to reach out to your den leaders!

Pack Meeting November 17th, 6:30pm to 7:30pm 


November Pack meeting:    Our next pack meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 17th. We invite you to join us for this event, where we have several highlights:


  • A guest speaker in honor of Veterans Day

  • The celebration of over 20+ scouts who have achieved the rank of Bobcat will join in for the ever famous Bobcat ceremony!!! 

  • Update on the candy fundraiser (see below) 

  • Details on the Fall leaf clean-up at the church, as part of our commitment to giving back (see below)

Fall Leaf Cleanup at the Church, Nov 18th at 9.00am


On Saturday November 18th, we will be participating in our annual pack-wide Fall Leaf Clean-Up. This event serves as our way of expressing gratitude and giving back to the United Methodist Church for generously hosting our meetings at their facility.


Not only is this a fun time to bond with fellow Scouts, but it can also contribute to scouts  rank advancement if they need to fulfill community service requirements with your Dens. 


And, as an added bonus, there will be donuts and coffee!


Date: Saturday, November 18th

Time: 9.00am to 11.00am 

Location: United Methodist Church at 273 Vernon St, Wakefield, MA 01880

Dress: Please wear outdoor work clothes.

What to Bring: Bring rakes, tarps, any clean up tools, or blowers – all are welcome.

Pack 722 Fundraiser - Coming to a close November 17th! 


Our candy fundraiser is drawing to a close. We hope you all had successful sales, and there's still time to get out there and sell some final bars of chocolate! The fundraiser will officially end on November 17th, at which point all funds are due.  Please turn in your money in the form of cash, check, or Venmo to your den leader or Pack Treasurer anytime from now until then.


After all candy sales have been collected we will tally the top selling individuals and den. The top-performing den will receive a pizza and ice cream party. The top individual seller may even get to surprise a few Den Leaders

Fall Camping Trip - Sudden Pond Saturday - October 21st


The crisp air, the crackling campfire, and the joy of exploring the outdoors together – it's that time of the year again! We're excited to invite you all to our much-anticipated Annual Fall Camping Trip to Sudden Pond in Harold Parker Forest.


Whether you're new to Pack 722 or a returning member, we have some important information to share about our upcoming overnight trip.


Trip details will be shared in-depth at our upcoming pack meeting. In the meantime, if you're eager to get a head start, you can access our Sudden Pond  information pack through the provided link.  


Dates

Friday - Oct 20th at 5:00 PM.( 2 night stay) 

Saturday - Oct 21st at ~12:00pm ( 1 night stay) 

Sunday - Oct 22nd all Scouts clean up and exit by 10am

Pack 722 Fundraiser - Candy is here! October 6th Pack Meeting


Exciting news! Our fundraiser candy has arrived, and we're gearing up for a successful campaign. To ensure everyone is well-informed and prepared, we'll be providing all the necessary information and answering any questions you may have at our next pack meeting on October 6th.

 Scout Day - USS Constitution November 5 (Optional) 


Join fellow scouts at the Charlestown Navy Yard for Scout Day–a special day of activities just for BSA Scouts and Girl Scouts. Scouts will learn about life at sea in 1812 and life in the Navy today, all while meeting some requirements for scout rank advancement badges. Explore the Museum and Ship as you stop at different activity stations throughout the Navy Yard. There will be something for all ages, so come as a scout, a family, or as a troop! All registered scouts will receive a special USS Constitution Museum Scout Day patch.


Registration ($10 per scout):  To register a scout or troop for the event, please complete the webform below. Family members and siblings are welcome to join in the activities.

Helping out Pack 722 in 2024 - Every Bit Counts!


As Cub Scout Pack 722 evolves and expands, we invite you to join us in making a difference. We're thrilled to extend mentorship opportunities to new parents who wish to engage with our Pack committee. Your involvement, no matter the extent, contributes to our collective growth and success. In particular, we're looking for help with the following:


Registration:  Helping the committee with new inquiries interested in joining Pack 722, answering their questions, and assisting them through the registration process for new scouts  


Fundraising: Any parents looking to join forces with Mandy and lead our Fundraising events within the 2024 year. 


Website / Social Media - If you're skilled in online platforms and websites, we invite you to collaborate with Andrew by providing any back-end assistance with the technical aspect of the Pack.

September 2023 Kickoff - First Pack meeting

Hello Pack 722 Families,

This is a reminder that will be kicking off our new scouting year next Friday evening, September 15th, at 6:30 PM at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon Street

The meeting is packed with important information for both our Scouts and parents, so please make every effort to arrive on time.
