Pack Crossover, Friday
Hi - Quick reminder for tomorrow night. Pack Meeting, Advancement and Cupcakes!
Pack Crossover . This is always an exciting evening as we recognize the scouts for their year of working on adventure requirements, culminating in earning that next rank and progressing along the scouting path. Scouts wear Class A uniforms. The plan is to run this evening of scout recognition outside in the parking lot (weather permitting) and there will be cupcakes. United Methodist Church Friday, May 19th at 6.30p.m We could use help with the setup of chairs. If any parents/scouts would like to get there 10-15 mins in advance, please reach out to Matt Theisen. |

Information about the Ecotarium Trip (w. attachment)
Hi All,
As we are getting closer to April 28th, I want to share some additional information about the Ecotarium trip for those attending. Attached is a full listing of FAQ provided by the museum, but I'm including some highlights below. Please review and feel free to reach out to Michael Lew if you have any questions.
- The EcoTarium is located at 222 Harrington Way in Worcester, which is about 60 minutes from Wakefield with no traffic. I'm guessing it's 90+ min from Wakefield in traffic on a Friday afternoon.
- Arrival time is 5:15-6:30. However, you should aim to be there as close to 5:30 as possible as programming starts promptly at 6:30 and we need to eat dinner before then.
- We will be serving pizza for everyone for dinner on the evening of the 28th. Planning to have it delivered to the Ecotarium at 5:30 or so.
- The Ecotarium is still strict with their COVID policies and while masks are not required, everyone will be required to test prior to entering the museum. If you test positive you will not be allowed to attend the overnight, so I recommend testing in advance before you leave your house to prevent having to turn around after you've arrived in Worcester.
- Bedtime varies, but is between 10:30 and 11:00.
Thanks
On behalf of Michael, Pack 722 Committee

Pre-Race Day Car Workshop - Wednesday, March 1st - 6:30-8:00PM @ First Parish Congregational Church in the Basement
Once again this year, we are offering an evening to get some help finishing off your cars in regards to attaching the wheels and getting the car to weight. No painting at this workshop. A few scout leaders with years of experience working on these cars will be on hand to offer their advice and provide some tools/jigs to help get your cars ready for race day. Please note the location above - the stone church by the lake!
Additionally, the owner of Hobby Bunker on Albion Street in Wakefield has reached out to the Pack and graciously offered a 20% discount for any of your pinewood derby painting needs. Please support our local Wakefield businesses!
