Spring Clean up at the Church

April 27th, 9:00am - 11:00am  (Yes there will be Donuts) 

Please join us for a spring cleanup at the church on Saturday, April 27th at 9am for a Pack 722 service project! We will be raking and trimming the grounds at our Pack headquarters as a thank you to the church community for utilizing their space all year. Be sure to bring (labeled) rakes, clippers, tarps, and leaf blowers if you have them. Gardening gloves are helpful for all to wear. Rain or shine, we hope to see you there! Donuts will be provided for all scouts that participate!!!


Date: April 27th

Time: 9:00am to ~11:00am

Location: United Methodist Church at 273 Vernon St, Wakefield, MA 01880

What to bring: 

  • Outdoor Dress, no uniform. 

  • Rakes, clippers, saws, tarps, and leaf blowers if available.

  • Gardening gloves recommended.

  • Rain or shine event.


Note on Parking: Please park cars at the back of the church lot. At 10 am, some church parishioners may  be arriving with items to set up in the church hall for a special event after the worship service on Sunday.

Pack Crossover (Save the Date)

May 17th at 6:30pm 

Pack Crossover, our final pack meeting of the year.  This is always an exciting evening as we recognize the scouts for their year of working on adventure requirements, culminating in earning that next rank and progressing along the scouting path.  Scouts wear Class A uniforms.


The plan is to run this evening of scout recognition outside in the parking lot (weather permitting) and there will be some post event activities, snacks and social hour (more info as the date approaches) 


Date: May 17th

Time: 6.30pm to 8:00pm

Location: United Methodist Church at 273 Vernon St, Wakefield, MA

Dress: Class A Uniforms!!!


We could use help with the setup of chairs.  If any parents/scouts would like to get there 10-15 mins in advance would be awesome.



Spring Campout at New England Base Camp in Milton, MA!

June 1st - June 2nd

A weekend of adventure awaits us at New England Base Camp in Milton, MA! Get ready for exciting program activities like Archery, BB Gun Range, Rock Climbing, and more!


Details:

  • Date: Saturday, June 1st - Sunday, June 2nd

  • Location: Blue Hills Reservation, 411 Unquity Rd, Milton, MA 02186. Link to Map

  • Parent or Guardian Required: Yes, unless specific arrangements have been made with the Pack

  • Food and Meals: The Pack will provide optional dinner; please see the form below.

  • Program Activities: Absolutely! We'll have Archery, BB Gun Range, Rock Climbing, and more! Here is a sample program

  • Pool: You bet! The pool is booked! Don't forget your bathing suit. All Scouts must pass an onsite swim test.

Camp Carpenter Sleep Away Camp

July 7th to July 11 

 

Get ready for summertime adventures – Camp Carpenter! Nestled on the outskirts of Manchester, New Hampshire, Camp Carpenter offers a 250-acre wooded escape, serving as the Daniel Webster Council's Cub Scout Summer Camp and the home of Granite Base Camp.


Date: Sunday, July 7th to Thursday, July 11th 2024 

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire

Activities: Archery, arts and crafts, BB gun shooting sports, field sports, nature exploration, scout skills,  Fort Friendship, Pirates Cove, and the Indian Village.

Committee Parent Planning Meeting 

May 5th at 7:00pm 

Do you have some ideas or feedback for Pack 722? If so, we want to hear about them! Each month, our pack leaders gather to discuss upcoming events, pack meetings, fundraising, and camping trips. These meetings are crucial for ensuring the success of our scouts and pack. We highly encourage parents to attend and share their feedback and insights. The meetings are open, friendly, and typically last for about an hour. You can join us virtually or in person, and you're welcome to attend for any part of the meeting. We meet on the second Sunday of each month, and the details are provided below:
