Information about the Ecotarium Trip (w. attachment)

Hi All,

As we are getting closer to April 28th, I want to share some additional information about the Ecotarium trip for those attending.  Attached is a full listing of FAQ provided by the museum, but I'm including some highlights below.  Please review and feel free to reach out to Michael Lew if you have any questions.

  • The EcoTarium is located at 222 Harrington Way in Worcester, which is about 60 minutes from Wakefield with no traffic.  I'm guessing it's 90+ min from Wakefield in traffic on a Friday afternoon.
  • Arrival time is 5:15-6:30.  However, you should aim to be there as close to 5:30 as possible as programming starts promptly at 6:30 and we need to eat dinner before then.
  • We will be serving pizza for everyone for dinner on the evening of the 28th.  Planning to have it delivered to the Ecotarium at 5:30 or so.
  • The Ecotarium is still strict with their COVID policies and while masks are not required, everyone will be required to test prior to entering the museum.  If you test positive you will not be allowed to attend the overnight, so I recommend testing in advance before you leave your house to prevent having to turn around after you've arrived in Worcester.
  • Bedtime varies, but is between 10:30 and 11:00.

Thanks

Friday Pack Meeting!

Hi Scouts,

I wanted to send out a quick reminder that we have our pack meeting this Friday, April 14th at 6:30pm at the United Methodist Church (273 Vernon St).  Of course, this is for all those not going to the Mystic Aquarium Sleepover.  It will be a fun one. It is our take apart night. If you have any old toys, small appliances, or electronics that you don't want anymore and would like to donate to help us learn what is inside please bring them in this Friday. Please, do not bring anything with fluids inside like oils or water.  A good example would be small engines or toys with water inside.  We will be doing this in the church main hall and would like to complete the cleanup to a minimum.  Also please bring in tools if you have them such as screwdrivers and pliers and please label them so that you can find them at the end of the night.

One last reminder, if you would like to go to the Project Linus event put on by the United Methodist Church please see information below
