Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Scouters everywhere!
Pack 722 receive a nice Thank You letter from the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry for our donation of homemade Christmas crackers.
I think the scouts really enjoy making the crackers which are an excellent community service project.
Dear, Scouts
Thank you for the donation of Christmas crackers in support of the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry.
Since 1982 the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry has worked to extend a helping hand to our neighbors in need. WIFP is a volunteer-driven organization generously supported by our local community.
In October we distributed over 20,000 pounds of groceries during 462 visits serving 922 of our Wakefield neighbors. We couldn't have done it without you!
Sincerely,
Maureen Miller
Director of Operations
Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry

Happy October! Keep those Popcorn Sales going!
This weekend, October 10, is our annual Fall Camping Trip to Sudden Pond in Harold Parker State Forest in North Andover. Even if you cannot spend the night, please show up and have fun with the Pack. There will be fishing, canoeing, hiking and other Den sponsored activities (see your Den Leader).

The weather looks good, but pack for cool weather.

If you're using GPS or an App like WAZE, use: SUDDEN POND FIRE ROAD, NORTH READING, MA to located the site.

Old School Directions: Take Haverhill Street towards North Reading. At the lights in North Reading Center, continue straight on Haverhill St for 1 1/5 miles. At flashing Yellow light turn Right onto Marblehead Street. Travel another 1 1/2 miles and turn Left onto Salem St. The entrance to the camping area will be on your right-hand side, approximately 1000 feet up the street, after a green colored house. If you go past the horse stables on the right, you've gone too far. Look for the Pack Banner to be outside the gate. Follow the road in, for roughly 1/4 mile and we'll be on the right.

Rumor has it that there's some sort of BIG Game that night. Don't worry, this isn't a formal meeting, just a chance for you to stop by and say that you will be returning and too see what's new for this year.

Our current, short-term calendar looks like this:
September 10: Fall Round Up - FPCC 6:30pm
September 24: Pack Meeting - FPCC 6:30pm
October 3: Pop Corn Show & Sell downtown
October 10-11: Fall Camping Trip - Sudden Pond/Harold Parker
