Pack Meeting 1/16 - Dutton Center - Derby Workshop - Scout Sunday's - Dine Out

Pack Meeting
This Thursday, January 16th at 6:30 pm will be our next Pack meeting.  Please arrive 10 minutes early as we have a full night ahead of us.  We will be having a guest speaker, so the meeting is anticipating to last 1.5 hours.  The sooner we can start, the sooner we will be done. We will be celebrating our Blue and Gold, this is the celebration of the birthday of scouting.  We will be having cake!

In addition, we will be passing out the pinewood derby kits.  If you cannot attend the meeting, make sure to reach out to your den leader to receive your kit.

Dutton Center
On Monday January 20th, we will be meeting at the Dutton Center on Main St in Greenwood at 10:30am for our annual Martin Luther King Day program.  The scouts will be performing skits, songs and playing games with the clients. It should last roughly an hour.  Please have the dress in their Class A scout uniform.  We hope to see everyone there!

Derby Workshop
Our annual Pinewood Derby Workshop is Saturday, January 25.

The times are broken down by Den:

o   Lions/Tigers-       Any time

o   Wolfs                    9:00 to 10:00

o   Bears                    10:00 to 11:00

o   AOL/Webelos     11:00 to 12:30

o   Anyone                12:30 to 1:30

The address is 38 Wiley St, which runs off of Water St. Go around back to the basement bulkhead.

Ideally your scout should have a design in mind, but we can help with ideas if necessary.  You won't finish the car at the workshop but you'll get a nice head start on it.

If you do not receive your pinewood kit at the Pack Meeting, check with your Den Leader so we can get it to you.  For anyone interested in racing in the family race, we do have a few extra kits available for sale.
